Camp and Israel experiences create meaningful memories and help to develop strong Jewish identities in our youth. Peninsula Temple Sholom strongly supports a parent's decision to send children on an Israel program or to a Jewish Summer Camp. In these uncertain financial times we want to help you as much as possible afford your children these amazing experiences.
Through the generosity of various PTS Funds and Sholom Women, we are able to help. There are also resources from the Union for Reform Judaism, Camp Newman and, especially the Jewish Community Federation (JCF) who gives very generous grants and scholarships through the Bureau of Jewish Education (BJE).
Please note that there are deadlines for all scholarship requests, as well as parent and student requirements.
Below you'll find three documents which will help guide you through the opportunities for both need-based and merit-based scholarship awards.
