What better way to celebrate a child’s simcha than with a book?
Please become part of our Hirschberg Children’s Library
Celebrate with Books!
In honor of a child’s birthday or accomplishment, please consider donating money to allow us to purchase a new book for our beautiful children’s library.
We will choose an age-appropriate book in the child’s honor and will put a bookplate in the front cover of the book, letting everyone know that it was given to our synagogue library by you and in honor of the child. And, of course, the honored child may be the first person to check it out. We will hold it at the religious school office.
We also will send a personalized letter to the child letting him or her know of the donation and the book that was selected.
It will allow our children’s library to continue to flourish and meet the needs of our growing religious school community.
We hold a monthly Sunday storytime for our Kindergarten through Second grade students in our Religious School's Hirschberg Family Library. At these sessions, Sandra Feder reads stories and leads discussions. Students also have the opportunity to check out books.
