Welcome back PTS!

We hope you are enjoying our spring semester at PTS!

This semester has been very busy as we hosted 90 Jewish teens for Mitzvah Torah Corps,

which was the 3rd NFTY event of the year! It was fantastic seeing the teens learn, celebrate and enjoy their Jewish heritage together right here at PTS.

Here are a few other events that have taken place at PTS over the last month or so:

We just celebrated Passover with a delectable and exciting chocolate seder!

The 6th and 7th grade are touring the TCHO chocolate factory and learning about fair trade chocolate and Judaism.

The 4th and 5th grade are going to explore the Planetarium at the Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.

Any Questions/comments relating to this event or others?

Rosh Hodesh Calendar

"Rosh Hodesh Its a girl thing" is a wonderful exciting program for girls entering in to 6th and 7th grade. Each month our group will meet once to learn about what it means to be an adolescent in the world today and how Judaism can help us understand some of what confuses us. Its a wonderful opportunity for your daughter to bond with her community at PTS while finding a safe place to ask key questions about what it means to be a girl.

If You are interested in this program please contact Yael at yzaken@sholom.org or 650-697-5579 ext 217.
