There are many ways to become involved at Peninsula Temple Sholom. You can volunteer at the Preschool or Religious School, join our Brotherhood or Sholom Women, or take part in one of the temple’s many committees that support temple programming and worship or assist in operations.
You can see a list of our many PTS committees and chair on our For Members page. Our committee chairs would love to talk to you — you can find their contact info in the Temple Directory. Or, you can ask Bev Rochelle, Membership Services Coordinator, at brochelle@sholom.org or (650) 697-2266.
Join a Temple Committee!
One of the most rewarding ways to participate in the life of Peninsula Temple Sholom is to join one of our many active committees. Some are standing organizations that meet often throughout the year. Others take on annual projects, or jump in when they're needed. PTS committees can expose you to new friends, and give you a great opportunity to work closely with our lay leaders and clergy.
If you're worried that you don't have enough time... don't worry! Many of our committee members hold down full-time jobs. Others are parents with small children, and still others are retired members of our community. There's room for everyone at PTS.
