Rabbi Daniel J. Feder joined Peninsula Temple Sholom in 2006 as the second Senior Rabbi in our half-century history. He is loved for his warmth, intellectual creativity and spirituality.

Prior to coming to PTS, Rabbi Feder served as the Rabbi at Congregation Keneseth Israel in Allentown, Pa., for seven years. Before that, he was the Assistant and then Associate Rabbi at Temple Oheb Shalom in Baltimore, Md.

Rabbi Feder was born and raised in San Francisco, and grew up attending Congregation Emanu-El. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Arts from Hebrew Union College. Rabbi Feder was ordained in 1994.

Rabbi Feder and his wife Sandra have three daughters.
