Associate Rabbi Kim S. Ettlinger joined Peninsula Temple Sholom in 2005. She is known for her sense of humor, empathy and ability to connect to congregants.
Rabbi Ettlinger was ordained at Hebrew Union College (HUC), where she earned two Master of Arts Degrees, one in Jewish Education and one in Hebrew Letters. In 1997, she was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Sociology from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia.
Prior to entering HUC, Rabbi Ettlinger did Rabbinic coursework at London's Leo Baeck College. She performed her fifth year Rabbinic internship with Congregation Ner Tamid in Las Vegas and at UCLA Medical Center as a chaplain.
Rabbi Ettlinger was born in South Africa and raised in Australia. She loves serving her congregation here in the United States.
